So lately Ive been putting my stuff out on other sites to see what people think, get advice, that sort of thing. A lot of the reviews have most certainly been mixed but the overwhelming majority recognizes the potential which is always a positive. Just wanted to let you all know Ive been working every comic to improve my art and hope sooner rather than later it gets to an acceptable level.  Anyways, this comic basically was an idea the that Brandon came up with where the bunny that was supposed to be just a meal… turns out not to just be that. Apparently he has an entire mutant family, and they don’t look to happy. Lets hope things turn out okay for our heroes(if you can call them that)!

Don’t think the future doesn’t also mean evolved lice.  Because it does.  And these little fuckers had the added benefit of a nuclear accerlerant.  But the Beardlings really aren’t any different from you or me — beside their habitat (beards), their food (also beards), and their knack for the postmodern (not only do they live in beards, but have beards themselves).  Elsewise, they’re as much a tiny, parasitic squatter as the next gal — oh, wait.  Sorry.

I think Nick really discovered himself while drawing these panels.  Or, rather, I discovered himself … for him … I think.  Anyway, this is a loose transcription of how it went down.

BLT: “Beards are cliché.  Face it — they just are.”

NP: “I have a beard.”

BLT: “About that… If we’re going to stand for this, you’re going to have to jump on board here — soon.  As in… now.”

NP: “Who said I was jumping on board? ”

BLT: “You calling yourself a liar?”

NP: “Erm, I guess not.”

BLT: “Okay then.  Now just remember to trim — and then shave.”

Coming out of a bomb shelter after ten, long years having only had male companionship would be… just — just terrible.  I’m not sure if it would be worse, though, to see that rabbit straight out of the airlock or a nude woman — certain, involuntary spasms could very well ruin what should have been a glorious release from captivity.
